In order to get flat abs, you will have to exercise, we all know that. But if we spend our time on the wrong exercises we will only get frustrated. Because our abs are one of the most difficult body parts to train, it's so important to know what exercises will get you the desired results in less time. Here are a few questions you can ask yourself to determine juts that:
1. Do you do only abs exercises?
If you are already lean and mean, then doing only abs exercises will give you a flat tummy. But if you have excess stomach fat, then doing hundreds of sit ups alone won't give you the desired effect. You are better off combining abs exercises with fat burning exercises.
2. Do you do a lot of cardio exercise?
Doing too much cardio can actually be bad for you. If you do too much cardio, you stand at risk of burning some of your muscles for energy. So stick to no more than 20 minutes of cardio at a time and you'll be fine.
3. Do you train with weights?
Training with weights is the best thing you can do for fat burn and to increase your metabolism. If you train regularly you will even start to burn calories even in your sleep. Aim to get about 2-3 weight training workouts in a week.
You will soon be seeing results if you combine the above exercises into your workout regime, but don't expect anything too soon. Getting flat abs will take time and you must be patient.
